London, UK. (Top40 Charts/ SONY BMG MUSIC Entertainment) - Jo Whiley will have the first play of Daddy's Gone by Glasvegas on her Radio 1 show on Monday morning (7th July) at 10.50am.

Glasvegas are: James Allan - lead singer / guitarist and songwriter, Paul Donoghue (bass), Rab Allan (Guitar) and Caroline McKay (drums).

After picking up the prestigious Philip Hall Radar Award at this years NME Awards, and coming 4th in the BBC Sounds of 2008 poll, Glasvegas release their first single through Columbia Records on June 23rd.
Geraldine will be available on CD single, two limited edition 7" vinyl singles and download. All bonus songs are exclusive to this release and include a version of The Korgis Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime.
Geraldine is taken from Glasvegas' forthcoming debut album, co-produced by James Allan & Rich Costey (Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Muse), which they are currently recording in New York for release later this year.
