New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ organicArma Official Website) - WHAT: Miami's most eclectic electronic concept band, organicArma, will perform live for the closing finale at this year's 'BMI Presents' Verano Alternativo showcase, as part of the acclaimed 2008 Latin Alternative
Music Conference in New York City.
Recently reported as having "..a unique style and back-to-basics music," by The Miami Herald, the progressive trio, comprising of dhArma111, phAxas and lhArma, will close-out the prestigious BMI showcase with a unique live performance finale comprising of tracks from the group's current EP "Under Duality 0.1," including "Awarned," "As Above So Below," "Discordia," as well as the debut performance of the group's newly released tracks "Meteor" and "Egipsin."
organicArma, one of today's most conceptual and inspirational teams of producers and performers in the alternative electronic music genre, will make their LAMC debut alongside some of today's most emerging BMI songwriters and artists, including Marel, Origen, Lapdance and Taxi Amarillo. While taking avid music attendees into a new realm of musical awareness, the well-synchronized stage show, produced and orchestrated entirely by the group, will feature a unique series of digital and visual aesthetics as the backdrop to an imaginative live performance, complete with organicArma's own signature sound that is uniquely indescribable.
Interspersed throughout the performance will be clips from a rare documentary on the renowned abstract sculptor from Colombia, Edgar Negret.
