Sydney, AU. (Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - Miley Cyrus and her alter ego Hannah Montana have long been stars in the U.S., but with her No 2 Australian chart debut this week for her new solo album "Breakout", Miley has begun to notch up achievements in Australia as well. Not only does Breakout give Miley her highest debut but this also means she has had three Top 20 albums in less than a year with "Best Of Both Worlds" peaking at No 16 and "Hannah Montana 2 / Meet Miley Cyrus" at No 20. Miley's chart success also extends to the singles chart - "7 Things" is Top 10 and in addition to "See You Again" Miley has two singles in the Top 20 ARIA Singles Chart. We may as well start up a precious metals mine just or Miley, with all the awards she's been receiving of late. Both the single "See You Again" and the album "Hannah Montana 2 / Meet Miley Cyrus" have been awarded with platinum status, and the brand new album "Breakout" is fast approaching gold as well. In the U.S, Miley Cyrus is the youngest ever recording artist with three No 1 albums in less than 2 years. "Breakout" is nothing less than Miley's declaration of artistic independence. Unlike her previous album, featuring "See You Again" and half of which featured her performing as Hannah Montana, the new one is 100 percent Miley. She co-wrote eight of the album's 12 songs and put her stamp on every aspect of production.
