NEW YORK (Top 40 Charts/ Bug Music Publishing) - Bug Music Publishing, the largest independent contemporary music publisher in the world, has entered into a long-term publishing agreement with legendary punk rocker Iggy Pop, it was announced today by Bug Music CEO John Rudolph.

Under the terms of the deal, Bug Music has acquired Iggy Pop's renowned back catalogue including his influential solo work featuring "Lust for Life," "I'm Bored," "Real Wild Child" and "The Passenger." Bug Music is currently the publishing home of The Stooges. Recently, Iggy Pop has worked with Swedish band The Teddybears on their single "Punkrocker," which was used extensively in an advertising campaign with Cadillac, and is featured on the upcoming Fatboy Slim album. More recent collaborations include his contribution to the Asian Dub Foundation's Japanese top 10 album "Punkara," as well as being featured as a DJ in RockStar games latest Grand Theft Auto 4 and completing work on the final season of the Comedy Central hit "Lil' Bush" as the voice of Donald Rumsfeld.

Additionally, under the publishing agreement, Iggy Pop and Bug Music will pursue ongoing creative collaborations with artists under the Bug Music umbrella. The first of which recently featured Pop's work with the Boss Martians whose music was used in the recent E-Trade campaign (voted top Superbowl spot)."
