NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Blue :: infinite Official Website) - 2008 has been a busy year for blue :: infinite. Not only did we release the soundscape album for the Prenzie Players' production of Life's a Dream, we also released our collection of experimental and ambient tracks (Atmosphere & Remains). Now we'd like to announce the release of our new studio album Hymns Of Drift. Illinois, Quad Cities band blue :: infinite consisting of Terry Skaggs and Marc Nelson represent a breath of fresh air with their unique textured electronic sound. Hymns Of Drift culminates two years of work into ten (mostly) instrumental tracks ranging from the shadowy psychedelic haka of the opening track "Narcissist" to the crackling electronics of "Fragmented Man" to the delicate pianoscapes of "Rainhouse" and "The Aral Sea". Elsewhere, "Spirits" conjures ghosts, LSD, a disappearing Polynesian village, and the anonymity of city life all realized with cinematic swirls of vintage synths, guitars, field recordings, layers of secret textures and tight beats. Please feel free to download Hymns Of Drift at https://www.blueinfinite.com/hod.php in lossless FLAC or in high quality mp3s. It is our goal to create music that invokes a sense of emotion and as always the music is free - we only want ears that are keen to experience our gift economy releases. We encourage you to share and download our music through our website, but request you respect the Creative Commons License.
