Radio today announced Tom Petty's critically-acclaimed music series, Tom Petty's Buried Treasure, will launch its highly-anticipated fourth season on Deep Tracks XM channel 40, Thursday, November 13 at 8 pm ET. Tom Petty's Buried Treasure radio show is synonymous with the best of rock, rhythm and blues music.

Each week, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Heartbreakers ringleader, Traveling Wilbury and rock legend Tom Petty pulls together a set of rare and classic tracks, many vintage, from his private vaults, for an hour of radio magic woven together with Petty's informed, passionate and entertaining commentary. This season Tom has been particularly inspired by the numerous emails from fans of the show requesting their personal "buried treasures", and their input will no doubt influence Tom's choice of playlists.
On November 11, 2008, Reprise Records will release Extended Play Live by Mudcrutch, the legendary Florida band featuring Tom Petty, Tom Leadon, Randall Marsh, Mike Campbell, and Benmont Tench. Mudcrutch undertook a brief tour of California venues in the spring of 2008. Extended Play Live features four tracks from that celebrated tour, including a dramatic fifteen-minute version of the band's masterpiece, "Crystal River," recorded live at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.
