DUBLIN, Ireland (U2 Fans Website) - Bono and The Edge performed an acoustic version of the song 'The Hands That Built America' last Friday at a party celebrating the Dublin opening of the Martin Scorsese-directed film, "Gangs Of New York," starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The track is the only contribution U2 makes to the soundtrack to the movie.

Before The Edge's performance with Bono, he performed with DiCaprio in a charity auction, which raised money for the Make A Wish children's charity auction.
And just who went to the highest bidder? The Edge edged DiCaprio out by going for $ 85,000.
