LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Hoovers Official Website) - The Hoovers have released a new album called "Toy". The songs on this new release pull from a diverse range of music styles including, rock, ska, reggae, latin, and Middle Eastern music.

The Hoovers enjoyed success in the British Ska scene of the early '80s with their debut release, "Skin and Blisters". The band, which is now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is led by Englishmen, Paul Whiting and William Sell who are both original members of The Hoovers.

The music on Toy is engaging, innovative, mesmerizing, energetic fun. Toy is available for immediate download through The Hoovers website, https://www.the-hoovers.com for only $9.99 USD. You can also hear demos on mySpace: https://www.myspace.com/theoriginalhoovers

In conjunction with this release, The Hoovers have just announced a CD Release Party November 15th, 2008 at Sweetwater Station in Larkspur, California.

The great bellydancer, Rasa Vitalia, will open the show and will also be dancing during the debut of the Hoover's Middle Eastern inspired title track, "Toy".

Originally from London, England, The Hoovers plan a number of performances in support of "Toy". For performance information or to purchase and download the new album, go to The Hoovers site: https://www.the-hoovers.com
