Sydney, AU. (Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - Ahead of one of the most anticipated Australian artist releases of 2008 "Songs Of Love & Loss 2", Tina Arena will return to Australia for a hectic promotional visit from Monday November 10 through to Tuesday November 25. Here to promote her "Songs Of Love & Loss 2" album and its first single, a stunning cover of Lulu's 'Oh Me Oh My', Tina will travel the east coast covering major press, TV, radio and online media. The new video for 'Oh Me Oh My' was filmed as part of the live recording sessions at Air Studios in London. It's a tender, day-in-the-life portrait of Tina, set around the recording of the album and can be viewed right here. Here you can also watch a very special 'The Making Of Songs Of Love & Loss 2' video, a great insight to the recording process with exclusive behind the scenes footage of Tina in the studio! The song selection on Vol 2 easily moves from covers of original versions by artists as diverse as Alice Cooper, Lulu and Blondie. "For my part, I think Volume 2 is more about deconstruction" Tina said. "I wanted to pull these songs apart and look at what made them work. I wanted to find the essence - the appeal- and then feature that rather than just rework an old classic." The CD tracklisting for 'Songs Of Love & Loss Volume 2' is a continuation of the Love and Loss theme and includes: 1. Oh Me Oh My - Lulu 2. Only Women Bleed - Alice Cooper 3. Every Breath You Take - The Police 4. Close To You - Carpenters 5. Call Me - Blondie 6. Baby It's You - Promises 7. Nights In White Satin - Moody Blues 8. I Hope I Never - Split Enz 9. Both Sides Now - Joni Mitchell 10. Wouldn't It Be Good - Nik Kershaw 11. Your Song - Elton John 12. Living A Lifetime - Tina Arena original The album will also be available on iTunes with an exclusive track Downtown originally by Petula Clark. After the massive success of the live interpretation of Songs of Love & Loss last year at Hamer Hall and the Sydney Opera House, Tina is currently making plans to tour Australia in March 2009 with full details to be announced very soon.
