NEW YORK (Fabolous Fans community/Website) - Gangster rapper Fabolous was arrested in Manhattan after police said they pulled him over and found he was driving with a suspended license.

The 25-year-old rapper, who scored a recent hit with the album "Ghetto Fabolous," was driving his new Range Rover on the Lower East Side on Wednesday evening when he made an illegal turn, police said.

The Fort Lee, N.J., resident, whose real name is John Jackson, faces a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
Fabolous's record label, Elektra, declined to comment on the arrest.
