NEW YORK (N'Sync Fans Website) - Rumors or truth?... Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera will head out on tour together this summer if final negotiations for the trek go as planned. "They are in discussions, but nothing's confirmed yet," Timberlake's Jive Records publicist said on Wednesday (January 15). The tour would be a reunion of sorts for the pair, who spent two years together in Orlando in the early '90s performing alongside each other on Disney's Mickey Mouse Club. Timberlake would be touring in support of his double-platinum solo debut album, Justified, while Aguilera would be out in support of her double-platinum 2002 album, Stripped. Both artists are currently planning the release of their respective third singles, and there is talk of a possible duet in the works for the future. Any duet recording sessions will likely take place when Timberlake returns from his current European promotional tour at the end of January. Timberlake is making the rounds because his second single, "Cry Me A River," is released internationally on January 20. The *NSYNC (news - web sites) singer has already confirmed several U.K. tour dates for this spring, but there's also no official word yet if Aguilera will be involved with the U.K. leg of his tour.
