NEW YORK, NY. (Top 40 Charts/ Eleven Seven Music) - Sixx:A.M. will release an exclusive "Live Is Beautiful EP" on November 25, available exclusively at Best Buy and www.bestbuy.com. A deluxe version of their debut album, "The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack," which is comprised of the original album along with the live EP, is also available as an add on to those who have not yet purchased the "The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack." "Live Is Beautiful" (produced by Sixx:A.M. and mixed by James Michael) was compiled from several performances on the inaugural Crue Fest, the summer's most successful rock festival and features riveting renditions of the tracks "Life Is Beautiful," "Tomorrow," "Pray For Me" and "Accidents Can Happen."

"The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack" has sold over 270,000 copies and produced the most played track on rock radio over the course of 12 months, "Life Is Beautiful." When Nikki Sixx, James Michael and DJ Ashba joined together to create the soundtrack to "The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star," Sixx's New York Times bestselling memoir, there was no talk of becoming a band. The project, they all agree, was a "labor of love," the result of three gifted musicians, songwriters and producers bringing the book to musical life. The surprising success of the album sparked an invitation for the band to perform earlier this year on the inaugural Crue Fest. Crue Fest saw the band evolve from a side studio venture into a crowd pummeling live rock act who performed to over half-a-million fans, dubbing them the "break out act" of the festival.

"A Modern Day Rock Opera Based On His Time In Hell" - New York Post

"Sixx A.M.'s hit 'Life is Beautiful' had fists pumping and fans singing from the pit to the lawn." - Charlotte Observer

In an industry that values teen idols, homogenized hit machines, predictable beats, assembly line talent, an industry that in this day and age would send Hendrix home to write "radio-friendly" three-minute songs and give Elvis an image makeover, a loud, aggressive, veteran three-piece studio project became the success story of the year. When asked what the band and the project meant to him, DJ Ashba said, "We have such passion for it that when we're together it's like magic."

After a year later, the accompanying "The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star" by Nikki Sixx continues to sell over 1,000 copies a week and has recently been re-released in trade paperback on October 28.
