LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Odds On Records) - Rising singer/songwriter Greg Medoro (www.gregmedoro.com) might be singing a 'Lost Melody' these days, but he's finding his way to the top along one of pop music's holiest grails: the
Radio & Records AC/Hot AC radio airplay chart.
The track, the second single (following 'Imagining You') from his popular and critically acclaimed Odds On Records debut 14 Sunset Way, debuted at No 30 on the chart for the week ending November 21. 'Lost Melody' is finding traction on the heels of superstar artists Mariah Carey, Josh Kelley, Enya, Wayne Brady, Faith Hill and Rihanna.
Medoro titled his album 14 Sunset Way after the address of the facility where he and Bobby Ferrari, Head of Production and A&R for Odds On Records, spent many wonderfully fruitful months producing the culmination of Medoro's full-fledged musical comeback, a process the artist likens to 'finally thawing the frozen poet inside' years after giving up his musical dreams.
Although the ten heartfelt tracks of pure non-fiction relate intimate reflections of joy, heartbreak, found and lost love, bright optimism and harsh realities, in many ways 14 Sunset Way is a celebratory return to the artist's youthful musical roots.
Odds On Records works with many national artists and international performers, and the company has different contractual arrangements with each artist. Some will be signed directly to Odds On Records, while others will be part of joint venture deals with other labels and/or special marketing and distribution agreements.
Odds On Records has secured distribution by New York based industry powerhouse Koch Entertainment Distribution, currently the world's fastest growing independent music company.
