NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ KOCH Records) - KOCH Records, the number one independent label in the U.S., was nominated by the National Academy Of Recording Arts and Sciences in four categories at the 2008 Grammy Awards nomination ceremony. KOCH Recording artists Earl Klugh, Jerry Douglas, Ringo Starr and George Tsontakis were nominated for their outstanding albums and compositions in 2008. The 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on "GRAMMY Sunday," Feb. 8, 2009, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and once again will be broadcast live on CBS from 8 - 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). Albums only.) * "Violin Concerto No. 2" George Tsontakis (KOCH International Classics) Nominated for Best Classical Contemporary Composition (A Composer's Award.
