NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Cyclone Records) - There is perhaps no bigger legend in the history of Canadian hard rock than Toronto's MOXY. Dubbed Canada's Led Zeppelin, MOXY holds the indubitable reputation of being the only Canadian band to have AC/DC as their opening act. In fact, Buzz Shearman was offered the vocal position by AC/DC when Bon Scott passed away but declined due to deep remorse over his friends death. One can still hear the roar of vocalist Buzz Shearman, twenty years after a motorcycle accident tragically ended his life just north of Canada's biggest city.

Now, in a surprise and brilliant turn of events, Russ Graham has joined MOXY as lead singer. Known for his inexplicable, incomparable and slightly insane stage antics as lead sing of the 80s metal band KILLER DWARFS, this is a combination that needs to be seen to be believed!

The current line up consists of Russ Graham, original guitarist and principle songwriter Earl Johnson, Kim Hunt on drums and Jim Samson on bass guitar, known in the Toronto area as the best rhythm section since appearing in ZON thirty years ago. With this incredible combination of talent, we now have what could be called a Canadian supergroup.

Having just returned for a 3,000 seat festival in San Antonio, Texas, Russ Graham will be making his Canadian debut with MOXY at Whitby Wing Shack, 1121 Dundas St. E., Whitby, Ontario on December 13th. Special guests are Hamilton's STIR OF ECHOES.
Plans are in the works for a new album along with remixes of earlier works.
