New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Toadies Official Website) - 2008 saw Dallas's own The Toadies reunite after a 7-year absence, play a US Tour that sold out in many major markets including New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, Washington DC, Seattle, Minneapolis and of course all over Texas including Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. The tour was to support their newest record entitled No Deliverance that spawned a Top 40 single with the title track at Active Rock radio.
The band still gets over 600 spins a week at alternative and active rock radio with combined plays from their current record as well as the Platinum selling Rubberneck.
The record has also scanned over 30k copies to date since the release in August '08 and was the No 4 selling indie record week of release. The band tirelessly trekked across the country for nearly 5 months that included a headlining stint at Lollapalooza on the MySpace stage.

The Toadies also headlined their own festival at Possum Kingdom Lake called Dia De Los Toadies in front of over 5,000 fans. The band will play some select shows in their native state as well as Hawaii in January before heading over to the UK and Europe to deliver their unique brand of Texas style rock n' roll. They also plan on releasing a new single in January called "Song I Hate" as well as plan to get back into the studio for more new material.

'No Deliverance; its got riffs aplenty and surges with just as much energy, darkness and heaviness as their earlier stuff, and the title track is a monster.' - Goldmine

'Todd Lewis resurrects his Texas grindcore outfit to rock harder and spookier than ever. On No Deliverance, they deliver 10 sonic assaults on common decency and complacency, howling much like the fundamentalists hell hounds on their trail.' -Village Voice

'Who wants Toadies to change? Communists that's who.' -Alternative Press

'Fourteen years have passed since Vaden Todd Lewis first haunted radio waves with his Do you wanna die? mantra. Despite band breakups, label woes and plastic guitars, the Toadies still sound as toady as ever on their new album, No Deliverance.' -Pitch Weekly

'No Deliverance, the Texas based alterna-rockers' first studio effort in seven years, is an absolute barn burner completely justifying the hype built up around a reunion tour that sizzled its way across the country this summer.' -Billboard

'The fact that these guys can reunite and crank out material that's just as relevant now as it was then is a solid testament to their craft.' -Spin

'Toadies reclaim their 'kingdom' with No Deliverance, a bold mix of post-grunge aggression and spicy Texas roadhouse flair.' -Rolling Stone

"The Toadies are back, and they've made their best record yet. No Deliverance is their classic sound with a wiser perspective, but more importantly, it's a batch of kickass rock n' roll tunes." -Artist Direct.
