USC Trojan Marching Band To Perform Avenged Sevenfold's 'Almost Easy' During Rose Bowl Halftime Show

BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - The USC Trojan Marching Band will perform Avenged Sevenfold's hit single "Almost Easy" during the Rose Bowl's halftime show on January 1, 2009. The broadcast begins at 1:30 p.m., with halftime starting at approximately 3:40 p.m. All times are PST.

Now, the Marching Band's performance of "Almost Easy" at the Rose Bowl will likely make it onto national television as ABC guarantees a three-minute portion of halftime be shown live.

"Almost Easy" is the first single from Avenged Sevenfold's current self-titled gold album. The track was a Top 10 hit at Active Rock, went Top 20 at Alternative, and was the Number One Most-Played Video on Fuse.

Avenged Sevenfold have announced a series of North American tour dates in support of the album. The tour, which begins on January 28th, 2009, in Salt Lake City, is the second leg of an arena tour that began last fall. The first leg was a triumphant success, raising industry eyebrows as one of the most successful with overwhelming demand for tickets and sold-out shows in an otherwise down year.
