NEW ROCHELLE, NY. (Top 40 Charts/ Sidney Frank Importing) - Jagermeister expands its music tour presence with the first Jagermeister Country Tour featuring country star Pat Green and special guest Randy Houser. The tour kicks off in Atlanta on January 31, 2009 and will celebrate the release of Green's new CD "What I'm For," that hits stores earlier that week. The Jagermeister Country Tour runs through early May and will make stops in Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York City, Baltimore, Cleveland and Washington, D.C., among others. Jagermeister currently sponsors many local country music acts and a select few will have a chance to play the opening slot.

Jagermeister has been supporting musicians through sponsorships and national music tours for many years. "We're big fans of country music and have been interested in taking our music tour program in this direction for a long time," said Bill Henderson, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Advertising for Sidney Frank Importing Company. "Jagermeister is a special product and we were looking for the perfect country artists to join this tour. We are thrilled that Pat Green and Randy Houser were willing to bring their talent on the road with us."

Pat Green is a three-time Grammy nominee and a world-class entertainer and songwriter. His legendary live shows have earned Pat comparisons to Springsteen and John Mellencamp. In fact, People Magazine calls Green "the Springsteen of the Southwest" He's sold nearly 2 million records to date, has a legion of loyal fans throughout the U.S. and has sold out venues from New York's Nokia Theatre to the Astrodome in Houston. After a short holiday break, Green is looking forward to getting back out on the road in just a few weeks. "I'm totally stoked to be headlining the inaugural Jagermeister Country Tour and to have Randy Houser out with us is the icing on our cake," says Pat Green. "We're gonna have a blast out there!" Green wrote or co-wrote 8 of the 10 tracks on his new album, "What I'm For," due in stores January 27th.

Randy Houser is one of country music's hottest new artists. His current single, "Anything Goes" made a big impact nationally when Randy performed on the Late Show with David Letterman after Letterman personally requested that Randy play on his show. The response was overwhelming.
"Anything Goes" is poised to break into the top 15 on the country charts and Randy will be visiting radio stations across the country while on the Jagermeister Country Tour "I'm thrilled to kick off 2009 with a bang as my debut single enters the top 15. Having the opportunity to hit the road with respected artist Pat Green and Jagermeister on the first ever Jagermeister Country Tour is an incredible opportunity" said Houser.
The Jagermeister Country Tour will be advertised in print and on radio. For more information, check out www.jagermusic.com/country, www.PatGreen.com or www.Ticketmaster.com. Tickets on sale now.
