Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Interscope Records) - Even though she is a Grammy-nominated star and has appeared in Blockbuster films Christina Milian has yet to become a household name like the other divas of her time but Milian still feels she has more to prove since her stint with Def Jam did not end well, but now she is in fine form she and has signed a new deal with MySpace/Interscope Records, her new single "Us Against The World," is a "cinematic power ballad" produced by Madd Scientist (Leona Lewis, Jesse McCartney) has already sold very well in digital format, "I've been out of the game for one-and-a-half years, and I think I'm long overdue for a comeback, so I'm treating this album like it's my last chance to make an impression. I'm competing with myself and being very detailed." Milian's personal life probably has gotten more attention than her music and acting career, she made international news when she denied any relationship with actor Eric West, but more news was made over the situation when in an interview with the New York Daily News she denied knowing the star despite having co-hosted an event for Elton John's AIDS foundation in August 2005, being photographed with West at New York Fashion Week and appearing with West on an MTV show, then she was spotted apologizing to West during the chance encounter according to a report by AOL news, but she finally opens with the truth about it, "It was sex. And that's all he was worth. We did it in the back of his car. I got over him fast. I used him for sex and that's it." she singers tells Instinct Magazine. Milian is viewing the MySpace deal as a chance for a fresh start. "I have a lot of support from my peers. I have lots of people that love me and want the best for me," she says. "Sometimes things don't work out the right way, but I know I work my butt off on my end. As long as you know you worked hard, you feel accomplished. Thankfully, I took the time off to check out what's going on and now I'm back, and MySpace is allowing me to do tons of different things creatively."
