NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Charm Official Website) - International R&B Singer, Charm, who celebrates her birthday on January 20, has been chosen to perform at the Sikh Inaugural Ball, the organizers announced Tuesday.

Charm will perform one or two popular cover songs such as Mariah Carey's "Hero" to commemorate president-elect Barack Obama, or hits like "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion, "I'll Always Love You" in the likes of Whitney Houston, "Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin, ect.

She would also perform two songs from her new album "Check For Me."

In a statement, Charm said: "As January 20th is my birthday, I would much rather spend my special day sharing my gift with my Sikh and Indian friends than to spend it not doing what I love."
