Azumuth Bring Their Signature Hard Rock To Blue Pie

Victoria, Australia (Top40 Charts/ Azumuth Official Website) - What is it about Rock music that has stood the test of time? Why does this genre still have it's day in the sun, when other fads come and go?� No-one really knows the answer but my guess is that it's the way you can express any emotion with this music. Anger, Love, Hate, even Uncertainty manages to be translated into this versatile medium.

Azumuth has harnessed this with an amazing outcome. They are melodic, epic hard rock with a slightly gothic tinge, the band was started in 2007 by singer/songwriter Aidan Dickens. Having no luck finding the right band members, Aidan decided to go it alone. He single-handedly performed, recorded and produced Azumuth's self-titled debut, with help on drums from close friend Turin Howell.

After the album was finished, Aidan enlisted the members he needed and Azumuth took to the stage. Azumuth now consists of Aidan on Vocals and guitar, Nathan on guitars, Adam's adverse efx on Bass, and Jessie on drums.

Azumuth's sound is very distinctive, with a huge guitar and keyboard sound over a driving rhythm section - all with Aidan's unique vocals soaring over the top. The songs themselves are about the yin and yang of life: the darkness and the light; falling into shadow and emerging on the other side to let your spirit soar

2009 starts with big things for Azumuth, signing to Blue Pie at the end of 2008 to join forces on a massive promotional campaign, which has already seen their video clip 'Fly' picked up Rage.
