Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Melissa Jones Official Website) - FOR MELISSA JONES, 2008 was truly a memorable year, as the Dyin' Breed recording artist toured constantly, performed for thousands, released her new CD - Red, White and Blue Night in Georgia - and launched her current radio single, "How Far Would You Go," which continues to generate both programmer and listener responses. Highlights of her 2008 touring included performances at 16 military bases and two shows aboard the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier, where she entertained appreciative military audiences. Jones celebrated the release of her new CD with a showcase concert at Nashville's famed Wildhorse Saloon in Sept., where she was cheered on by a busload of soldiers who made the trip from Ft. Campbell, Ky. to see her perform. "How Far Would You Go" continues to hit its stride with more than 107 stations now on it, including 18 Music Row reporters. The single moved to No 88 on last week's Country Breakout chart.
