New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Bluegrass Family Band Cherryholmes already have a busy 2009 ahead of them, and it's barely started. First, the band will be at the Grammys this weekend, where they are nominated for a pair of awards - Best Bluegrass Album and Best Country Instrumental Song. The band has earned two previous nominations, one each for their catalog of Skaggs Family Records releases - the band is hoping the third (and fourth) time's the charm.

The band is also confirmed for this year's Bonnaroo Festival, running June 11th - 14th. Cherryholmes is honored to join an all-star lineup, including acts like Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Beastie Boys, Phish, and Elvis Costello.

The band wisely plans to spend most of February performing in the Caribbean, but Spring will find the band hitting the road in the U.S. as hard as ever - playing 30 shows in 60 days throughout the West and East Coast. This leg will include a stop at New London, CT's Naval Submarine Base as part of the Spirit of America Tour, a non-profit organization that brings headline entertainment to America's stateside military bases. Full list of Spring dates below.
