NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ End Records) - The Answer, four lads hailing from Downpatrick in Northern Ireland have been busy fulfilling their duties as the opening act for the North American and European legs of AC/DC's Black Ice World Tour. They finished the 42 show run of the states on January 31st and are currently in Europe to continue on the "Black Ice" tour in support of the release of their new album, Everyday Demons.

Everyday Demons is The Answer's second LP but the first to be released here in the states. The album is out today, March 31st on The End Records, distributed through RED and was recorded in summer '08 in Los Angeles with John Travis (Kid Rock, Static-X, Killing Heidi, etc.) producing.

In the last six months the band has appeared in Rolling Stone and Spin Magazine as well as having played on The Late Show with David Letterman. Billboard recently named the band one of the "Best Bets of 09." The four Belfast boys also made their video game debut when Activision chose their song "Never Too Late" for Guitar Hero IV: World Tour.

The Answer got together in spring 2000, signed a contract with the legendary Australian rock label, Albert Productions in 2005 and brought out their debut album, Rise, in 2006. "It took us three or four years to really get noticed," guitarist Paul Mahon explains, "but then it all started to happen at once." The band has performed with icons such as the Rolling Stones, The Who and Aerosmith, playing celebrated headlining tours in England, Japan and Australia.
