LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Luck Media & Marketing) - Greg London's dynamic cover of Bread's 70's classic 'Everything I Own' is shaping up to be one of the major adult contemporary radio hits of 2009, but if you still haven't heard it, no worries-you can check it out at www.gregorylondon.com/greg, the master musical impressionist's newly revamped and streamlined multi-media website.
The cool and edgy, retro meets modern site is the place to discover all things London. With a few mouse clicks, you can find news and reviews of his hit show 'Greg London's Icons,' which re-opened March 1 as 'ICONMAN' and is now one of the longest running shows ever in Sammy's Showroom at Harrah's Reno; the showroom was built by Bill Harrah for Sammy Davis, Jr., who performed there numerous times.
The site has links to Greg's personal blog; a bio detailing his diverse career in entertainment; audio of his recordings; and video clips from 'Icons' (in Reno and London) and the 2008 film 'The Dukes,' in which he appeared and sang.
Jumping this week on the FMQB AC40 chart from No 19 to No 16 with a bullet, 'Everything I Own' is now ahead of tracks by Katy Perry and Missy Higgins and just behind songs by American Idols Kelly Clarkson and David Archuleta.
With his track rising to No 28 on the Radio and Records (R&R) AC chart, London is grooving ahead of Adele and Duffy and just behind Journey and MercyMe. He's surrounded by the same artists on the Mediabase AC chart, where 'Everything I Own' is up this week to No 26.
London was profiled last week in the Reno Gazette Journal (www.rgj.com), where he said of his show's new 'ICONMAN' incarnation, 'It's probably the most demanding show that I've ever done. We were trying some new things tonight, and I was thinking, 'Can we pull this off?'' The article concluded: 'Well, they did, at least as far as the audience's enthusiastic applause indicated at the end of that evening's performance.'
