T.Ruthless Sample Track Now Available

Riverside, CA. (Top40 Charts/ ANA KEFR Official Website) - California-based philosophy-metal band ANA KEFR has posted another sample track, "T.ruthless," to the band's Myspace page, providing a scathing glimpse within the brutal side of their upcoming genre-defying debut album, "Volume 1." The record is scheduled for official release on June 1, 2009 through Muse Sick Records, the band's imprint label.

Commented guitarist and backing vocalist Trenton Pichel: "I had the main riff for 'T.ruthless' before the formation of ANA KEFR, but piecing together an entire song from it happened much later. All I knew was that I wanted to write a straight-up metal song without a lot of structure. The end result is a combination of improvisation and some feedback and additions from the rest of the band. To me, the song is just epic. The drive of it just feels like a push to create change, it's the soundtrack to a riot."

"Volume 1," featuring guest appearances from MY RUIN members Mick Murphy and Tairrie B, was mixed and mastered at Dinky Music Recording Studios in Corona, California by Billie Stevens of HANDSOME DEVIL and WANK. Dom Lawson, of METAL HAMMER MAGAZINE and BRAVE WORDS & BLOODY KNUCKLES, recently commented on the ANA KEFR debut: "Brutal, terrifying and totally original, ANA KEFR are twisting metal with their bare hands...and it sounds fucking amazing!"

ANA KEFR will be performing with TAPROOT on their national tour at the Key Club in Hollywood on April 14, 2009.
