NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Electro-pop duo Jupiter Rising kick off a special tour of California high schools Monday May 18th in support of their new album 'The Quiet Hype.' Jupiter Rising's music has appeared frequently in MTV shows like The City, The Hills, and My Super Sweet 16. Their song "Tres Cool" also appeared recently in an episode of the CBS drama "Criminal Minds." They'll perform 40-minute sets with their DJ Christian Gamez, including a stop at vocalist/producer Spencer Nezey's alma mater, Cordova High in Sacramento. Jupiter Rising have earned raves for their "beat-heavy dance gem" (Black Beat) of an album, 'The Quiet Hype.' Metro NY declared that "Their songs will likely sneak into classic status" while Billboard praised their single "Falling Away" as "an easy-to-like track with tight harmonies [that] showcases the duo's readiness to conquer the dancefloor."
