BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros Records) - Taking Back Sunday are set to release their new album on June 2nd, 2009 on Warner Bros. Records. The album, entitled New Again, was recorded in New York City with producer David Kahne, whose production credits include Paul McCartney, The Strokes and Sublime.

Early praise for New Again has been effusive. Alternative Press (which the band currently graces the cover of) gave New Again 4.5 out of 5 stars, and Revolver rated it four stars, declaring the album 'polished, dynamic and upbeat.' The first single off New Again, 'Sink Into Me', has shot into the Top 20 at Modern Rock Radio in just a few weeks, and the Travis Kopach-directed video for the song premiered on MTV.com, MTV2, MTVU and MTV Hits last week. TBS have been chosen as XBOX Artist of the Month for June, Artist of the Month on The N and they will be performing 'Sink Into Me' on the outdoor Pontiac Stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live on release day.

Taking Back Sunday has been selected to open for Blink-182 on their summer reunion tour. Their leg also features Weezer and runs from August 23rd in Toronto through September 17th in Irvine, CA. The New York five-piece are out now on a nationwide headlining tour that kicked off on May 14th and continues through the end of June.

The band also announced that a pack of their tracks will be available for Rock Band today. 'MakeDamnSure', 'What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost?' and 'Liar (It Takes One To Know One)' are the first three TBS songs to be featured on the game. Additionally, a new song off New Again, entitled "Everything Must Go" posted on the band's MySpace this weekend. There will be a full album listening party on MySpace May 28th & 29th. Visit myspace.com/takingbacksunday to listen.

Taking Back Sunday is Adam Lazzara (vocals), Eddie Reyes (guitar), Mark O'Connell (drums), Matt Rubano (bass), and Matt Fazzi (vocals, guitar).
