MIAMI, FL. (Top40 Charts/ Pres Pak Public Relations) - Ever So Klever is a dance band comprised of six unique members who come together to create a sound dubbed "Power Swing". It is similar to the swing that helped so many get through the economic downturn of the Great Depression, but with a modern twist. The band is influenced by the sounds of swing, rockabilly, jazz, ska, country, Latin, and the blues. This wild combination of styles and culture has led to the creation of the Power Swing revolution.

Rich Plaza is originally from Brooklyn and is of Puerto Rican decent. He has never had any professional music training. Playing since he was only 6, his love for Rush and Latin music is an interesting combination of styles. Putting his guitar playing in only one genre is impossible. One moment its Santana, the next, Alex Lifeson, all while playing swing.....go figure. Rich keeps to himself, and while he has a long resume of musical accomplishments, his only ambition is to see you enjoying Ever So Klever.
Joel Enriquez is the band's Cuban drummer with 16 years of experience. Enriquez has played and recorded with many artists in many styles from rock, funk, Latin, pop, fusion, swing, rockabilly and more. He has performed with Arturo Sandoval, Nestor Torres, Julio Sabala, Priscila, Javier Iglesias, Onelle, Locoyo, Garaje H, La India, Jose Velentino Etc, and others. He graduated from Miami Dade College in Music and Florida International University (BA) in Music Education.
Ron Rummage has been performing on Electric Bass most of his life. Ron started out on trumpet receiving a Music Performance Scholarship at Missouri Western near hometown Kansas City. Years of touring USA, Canada, and Las Vegas showrooms brought Ron to South Florida in 1989 where he quickly became a fixture on the local music scene. He is considered an "A" list musician with the South Florida Blues Society. Ron lists Jaco Pastorious, Donald Duck Dunn, and Jack Bruce as early influences on bass, and Benny Goodman, Harry James and Doc Severinson Orchestras as early influences to big band swing style music. He has played with Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kansas, and many others. Ron has a passion for fine cigars and can always be recognized on stages wearing his black "pork-pie" hat.
Paula Monique is the trumpet player for the band. She was born and raised in South Florida and has been playing for 14 years. She has toured with the Emmy and Tony award winning Broadway sensation, "Blast!" a two-hour stage production where music meets motion. Paula recently returned from Japan playing with "Brass Odyssey," an-all female cast of musicians and dancers. In her spare time, Paula enjoys long walks on the beach, teaching marching band, and giving private lessons to middle and high school students.
