LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Chickenfoot Official Website) - Guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, Chili Peppers' drummer Chad Smith, and Van Halen front man and bassist Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony have formed a new band called Chickenfoot.

The group will make its first TV appearance on Conan O'Brien's "Tonight Show" Friday, June 5, and its self-titled CD will be released the same day.

The band's first single, "Oh Yeah," is No 1 on the Classic Rock charts and the No 1 most added single in the mainstream rock charts.
