LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Walt Disney Records) - Actor/singer Mitchel Musso, beloved by fans for his co-starring role on the hit Disney Channel series 'Hannah Montana', debuted at No 19 on Billboard's 200 chart this week with his self-titled Walt Disney Records solo CD.
With 20,000 units scanned in its first week, the album also hit No 2 on the iTunes Pop chart (second only to Lady Gaga) and No 5 on iTunes Album chart on the very first day of release.
The album debuted at No 11 on Billboard's Digital album chart with over 50,000 digital downloads. Moreover, the song 'Hey' rocketed to No 8 on the iTunes Pop chart and No 23 Overall.

An accomplished singer/songwriter, the Texas native previously scored three Top 10 hits on Radio Disney, including 'The In Crowd.'
On the new CD, Mitchel worked with producers/songwriters S*A*M & Sluggo, Max Martin, Curt Schneider, Matthew Wilder and PJ Bianco while co-producing two tracks with his production company, M3 Music.
He co-wrote two songs on the record, 'How to Lose a Girl' and 'Shout It' (Mitchel's brother, Mason Musso of Metro Station, sings on the latter).

Mitchel will soon announce concert dates opening for Metro Station in select markets, in addition to headlining his own tour kicking off in July.
