LOS ANGELES (Coldplay Fans Website) - "Coldplay: Live From The Hollywood Bowl" Special To Air On Over 150 Stations Nationwide; Coldplay is #1 on Apple's iTunes Music Store Sales Chart.

On May 20 in Edmonton AB, Coldplay will kick off the second leg of its 2003 North American tour. The sold out run of major arenas and amphitheaters will include two headline shows at each the Hollywood Bowl (May 31 and June 2) and Red Rocks Amphitheatre (June 5 and 6); the tour will end on June 13 with a triumphant performance at Madison Square Garden. On this 17-date tour, Coldplay will play in front of more than 200,000 fans. See below for a complete list of tour dates.

On Saturday, May 31 at 9:00 p.m. PT, radio listeners across America will be treated to a special Westwood One broadcast of "Coldplay: Live From the Hollywood Bowl." The two-hour special will air on over 150 stations nationwide including WXRK-FM in New York and KROQ in Los Angeles. Check local listings for station information.

Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head has sold well over 1.5 million in America and earned for the band two 2003 Grammys: Best Alternative Music Album and Best Rock Performance by Duo or Group with Vocal. The album entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at #5 and, after over 37 weeks on the chart, is currently on Top 30. Coldplay's debut album, Parachutes, has also sold well over 1.5 million copies in the U.S, was awarded the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. Coldplay is the only band to have ever won the Best Alternative Music Album in two consecutive years.

"The Scientist," the third single from A Rush of Blood to the Head, is steadily climbing the modern rock and adult alternative charts and the companion video for the song has been increased to Blow Torch rotation on MTV2. Simultaneously, Coldplay's smash "Clocks," has crossed to top charts at adult top 40, top 40 mainstream and modern adult and the companion video is in Large rotation on VH1.

Coldplay's "Clocks" is the #1 song this week on the Apple iTunes Music Store chart and the band has a total of 12 songs - 11 tracks from A Rush of Blood to the Head as well as the exclusive track "One I Love" - in the Top 25.
