Singer/songwriter Josh Homme told the magazine, "It's almost like [Songs For The] Deaf was the end of something, and this is a whole new level. It's more simple. It's less complicated." The album will be produced by Homme himself, and he said that most of the songs were written on the road. Song titles include "Skin On Skin," "Everybody Knows That You're Insane," and "Tangled Up In Plaid." Queens Of The Stone Age wrap their stint with Red Hot Chili Peppers on Tuesday (May 20) in New York City's Madison Square Garden. The band tours Europe starting June 5 in Bologna, Italy. The band will follow that with a stint on Lollapalooza, which starts July 3 in Iona, Michigan.
