(NASDAQ: CKEC), a leading digital cinema and 3D motion picture exhibitor, announced today that the Michael Jackson memorial service will be shown live tomorrow, July 7, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. ET (12:00 p.m. CT, 11:00 a.m. MT, 10:00 a.m. PT) in 28 markets, giving fans the opportunity to view a cinema-quality high-definition broadcast of the event for free. Gary Green, Director of Alternate Content of Carmike Cinemas, stated, 'This free live broadcast is a gift from Carmike Cinemas to all of Michael Jackson's fans as a way to present the memorial service in the best digital presentation available.
