NEW YORK (Metallica Fans/MTV2 Websites) - Metallica's video for "St. Anger" was premiered on MTV2 on Tuesday (May 27) at 12 noon ET.
The clip is the first video and single from the band's forthcoming album St. Anger, which arrives in stores June 10.

The video was filmed by the Malloy Brothers at San Quentin State Prison just outside of San Francisco. The production duo spent 18 hours in the prison filming the band's performances at various locations in the penitentiary.
After its noon debut, MTV2 will air the video every hour through 9:00 pm ET. The clip then premieres on MTV at 11:30 pm ET.

St. Anger is the band's first album of new, all-original material since 1997's ReLoad. Metallica is set to embark on its headline festival tour, Summer Sanitarium, starting July 4 in Pontiac, Michigan.
