BURBANK, Calif. (Top40 Charts/ Reprise Records) - Reprise recording artists Cavo will join the newly-created Monster
Energy second stage line-up of Motley Crue's hard-rock summer tour extravaganza Crue Fest 2, which begins July 19th in Camden, NJ. The tour will make a stop in Cavo's hometown, St. Louis, on August 11th, which is also the release date of their major-label debut album Bright Nights * Dark Days.
Cavo is burning up the Rock radio charts with their propulsive debut single "Champagne." After hitting airwaves in April, the track has reached an audience of more than 53 million, scoring over 150 radio adds amongst all Rock formats. The single has claimed the No. 3 slot on Active Rock, broken into the Top 10 on the Mainstream Rock Chart, and gone Top 30 on the Modern Rock Charts. "Champagne" is also in rotation on SiriusXM's "Octane" playlist.
"Champagne," which had the highest R&R Active Rock chart debut for a new artist since Avenged Sevenfold's "Bat Country" in August 2005, is the first single from Cavo's debut album. Bright Nights * Dark Days--produced by David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus)--is a passionate collection of powerful rock-and-roll and keenly felt lyrics. The album also includes the track "Let It Go," which is featured on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen soundtrack, released June 23rd.
Cavo, which features singer Casey Walker, guitarist Chris Hobbs, drummer Chad La Roy, and bassist Brian Smith, is currently on the road before the launch of Crue Fest 2.
