Brooke Hogan Feels 'Redeemed' With New Album

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Brooke Hogan Official Website) - Brooke Hogan, the 21-year-old daughter of popular wrestler Hulk Hogan, is releasing her second album, Redemption, on July 21. Despite her brother's incarceration and her parents' divorce, Brooke has remained strong and mature in her life and in her music.

She recently spoke with TheCelebrityCafe about overcoming her family issues, and completing her upcoming album.

'I feel like now things are starting to look up, I'm really happy, I love working on my music, I feel really good about that� so I'm really excited about this stage of my life. That's why I think it's my redemption, I'm finally being redeemed' she told TheCelebrityCafe.com.

The cover of Redemption features Brooke airbrushed as an angel. Brooke wanted the cover to be something angelic or pure bliss, just like redemption should be.

Brooke wrote most of her songs including her favorite one, 'Dear Mom'. She said the concept of that song was to help her relationship with her mother.

"I'm hoping it will be a bridge you know? And it's been really hard to, you know, communicate with her and things like that, and I'm just hoping that by her hearing the song it will have a different impact."

In her VH1 reality TV show, Brooke Knows Best, Brooke said that displaying her personal life has not been hard on her because she knows that the people who are watching the show are fans and supporters that are not quick to judge and are understanding.

After working hard on the new CD, Brooke is in need of some R&R.

She said, 'I would love to just have some time to relax and kick back and chill out�I've been working a lot.'
