NEW YORK (Counting Crows Official Website) - Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz is saying the group's recently completed tour of college campuses was the most exhausting outing he's ever been on. In a message posted on the band's official website, countingcrows.com, Duritz revealed, "I think everybody's pretty burnt out. The last tour really took it out of everybody." The singer added, "I don't think we really noticed it while it was happening but right after the last gig...I looked around and everyone just looked terrible." The Counting Crows tour of college campuses got off to a rough start. The tour was delayed by a week after Duritz's doctor forced the singer to rest his voice. The band began its road trip in April of 2002, traveling across North America, Europe, and Australia in the process. The Counting Crows will begin a 12-date European tour on Friday (June 6) in London. The group's co-headlining tour with John Mayer begins July 7 in Colorado.
