New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Prior to kicking off a massive 30-state tour, Girl in a Coma shot a video for their single, "Static Mind." The trio is in the final stretch of their road trip in support of their new album 'Trio B.C.' out on Joan Jett's Blackheart Records label. "Static Mind" was shot in Girl in a Coma's San Antonio hometown and directed by native Jim Mendiola. The video was created using animated digital photographs, capturing the girls visiting yard sales, signing autographs, and dueling with swords in their neighborhood. Sisters Nina (guitar, vox) and Phanie (drums) Diaz and childhood friend Jenn (bass) make up the band. Cameos include Nina's dog Marilyn (and a portrait of said pet), her brand new Flying V guitar and a well-thumbed copy of Jack Kerouac's 'On The Road.'
