CHICAGO, IL. (Top40 Charts/ VerveLife) - Hotel Indigo hosted 50 music fans and valued hotel guests to an invite-only, exclusive performance at their Downtown Gold Coast property. The performance was part of the hotel's Artist in the Spotlight marketing initiative created to enrich the guest experience and increase awareness for the upscale boutique brand. The California rockers, Thriving Ivory, who have been on the Billboard Heatseekers chart for over 50 weeks, graced the stage, performing hit songs, like 'Hey Lady' and telling stories from the road.
'Having the opportunity to tap into Thriving Ivory's fan base and bring in new clientele that may have not been familiar to the hotel chain before the Artist in the Spotlight program, is so exciting!' says Angie Hines, general manager, Hotel Indigo Downtown Gold Coast.
The Artist in the Spotlight program, developed by the brand in conjunction with Chicago digital entertainment company, VerveLife, is the first program of its kind for Thriving Ivory. Front man, Clayton Stroope, commented on the importance of online media promotions, and the 'great exposure it brings. We love seeing our faces on lanyards!' Joking aside, Stroope went on to talk about the event, 'It's a really relaxed and raw performance, and you truly feed off of the audience.'
The lucky fans that were able to attend the performance, not only heard an up close and personal show, but the artist meet-and-greet that followed made for a truly unique event. Thriving Ivory mingled with fans, graciously taking pictures and signing CD's.
