St. Vincent will open for
Grizzly Bear on their November European tour, but before that she'll play a brief run of dates in the Northeast, including the Virgin
Mobile Festival on August 30, and touring the U.S. for a month with Andrew Bird.
Rave reviews followed St. Vincent on her recent U.K. tour. NME described her encore in Bristol as "a perfect juxtaposition of celestial beauty and gnarliness." "There was nothing that could sap her frenetic energy or detract from her phenomenal performance," wrote the Bristol Evening Post. At the Latitude Festival, Uncut praised "a great show from St. Vincent," while The Independent pointed to her "spiky, acidic songs" as "highlights" of the Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park.
