SAN DIEGO, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Magic of Life Enterprises) - THELEVENTHOUR, a popular hard rock band that calls San Diego home, will be honoring deploying marines with a free concert and blue ribbon ceremony at the South Mesa Club on Camp Pendleton on August 21st. The public is welcome to attend and show support while listening to the songs of the band's debut album of the same name. Chase Manary, lead singer of the band, said, "Events like this, as well as meaningful songs such as "The 11th Hour" and "March of Angels", show the 'soft side' of our 'hard rock' band." Chase continued, "Plus, a lot of these marines have come to our local shows for the past two years to support us, so now it's our turn to support them."

Michelle and Scott Ornelas, parents of bass player Christian Ornelas, have hosted a dozen marines each Thanksgiving for several years now, and the band has always given a private show for them after dinner. Hoo-rah's filled the house last year when the band played their signature song, "The 11th Hour", and similar raves at local venues have continued throughout the year.

Another well-known Southern California band, Watch Us Burn, will help theleventhour rock the stage and special guest, Helice Bridges, Founder and CEO of Difference Makers International, will lead her famous acknowledgement ceremony to honor the marines' valor. DMI is a non-profit organization located in Cardiff by the Sea, CA, whose programs have positively impacted over 30 million people worldwide. Although the concert is free, donations are welcome to help DMI continue its empowering efforts. A Youth Ambassador for Difference Makers International since the eighth grade, Chase Manary has honored adults and children at schools, corporations, on videos and even at political council meetings throughout the San Diego area, for the contributions they have made in their own communities. He has also given many free performances at charity fundraisers.

Now attending Palomar College and Cal State at San Marcos, the members of theleventhour, Chase Manary (lead singer), Christian Ornelas (on base), Joe English (on drums) and Ricky Aviles (on guitar), all graduated from Rancho Buena Vista high school, in Vista, CA. The band decided not to go away to college so that they could pursue their dreams in the music world.
