LOS ANGELES (Teen Choice Awards Website) - Nominations were announced today for the Teen Choice Awards, sponsored by Teen People magazine. Jennifer Lopez leads the pack with 12 nominations, followed by Eminem with seven.

Oddly, Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini are nominated for their movie "From Justin to Kelly" despite the fact that the film hasn't even been released yet. Canadians Avril Lavigne and Sum 41 were nominated for music awards.
The awards will be presented on August 6th in Los Angeles.

J.Lo faces off against Jessica Alba, Amanda Bynes, Hilary Duff, Jennifer Garner, Beyonce Knowles, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani in the Best Female Hottie category.
