New York (Top40 Charts/ Clean Air Clear Stars Festival) - This year's lineup includes performances by The Dandy Warhols, Robbie Krieger (Of The doors), Jay Aston (of Gene Loves Jezebel), The Morning After Girls + many of Los Angeles's top local bands such as Gram Rabbit, Spindrift, Sky Parade as well as top bands from around the country. The three day event will showcase some 30 bands on 3 different stages with an incredible desert town serving as the festival backdrop. https://www.cleanairclearstars.com

Clean Air Clear Stars began in response to the "Sawtooth" fires of 2006 which devastated som 61,000 acres in and around the small town of Pioneertown in the Joshua tree desert region of Southern California. Scientists who study the region concluded that increased levels of carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and nitric oxide contributed to the prevalence of a ground cover weed called Red Brome which allowed the fire to sweep fiercely across the desert plains. "Being a destination point to escape from city life, many of us were alarmed to learn that this fire which destroyed so many homes and businesses was linked directly to Global Warming." said co-founder of CACS, Tommy Dietrick.

Tommy and his CACS partner, Jason Anchondo, make it no secret that this event is not your run of the mill corporate event. " We ask all of our friends to donate their performance to the cause. None of the bands are paid and the money we raise is donated to Global Inheritance, a registered 501c non profit agency."said Jason ( https://www.globalinheritance.org). Relying on the kindness of vendors and the willingness for small businesses and individuals to donate, the Clean Air Clear Stars Festival offers a feeling of community and shared responsibility.

While admission to the event this year is free, festival goers are asked to make a donation at the door. Camping is available and campsites can be purchased at the door for $15 per tent. Hotels in the area tend to book up quickly so parties interested in renting a room must act early.
