Indie Artist Releases Emotionally Authentic Soundtrack Album

Chez has reclaimed the true feeling of soul and emotion solely through organic sounds. This album is a mixture of Marrone's influences, such as Massive Attack, Portishead, Pink Floyd, Unkle and DJ Shadow. The structure and pacing assist in creating the ultimate goal of this record, which is to have the listener build a story through their own creative imagination.

These 10 songs sonically travel to different emotional states to the beat of relentless drums. 'Restart' sets the path for the journey. Keyboards, bass, and drums create a 'weight of the world' feeling and there is definite apprehension for what is to come. The song cleverly transitions about midway from a sense of apprehension to a sense of urgency. 'Haunting' is mysterious, moody, and dark. It produces a futuristic feel that continually marches forward like being pulled by something that is out of one's control. 'Mindbender' is a freight train of drums with ambient undertones. 'The Reaper' feels like the sadness for reaching the end of a journey and the pride for having made it. 'Hyrule' is melancholic piano mixed with ethereal Gregorian chants, all of which are mixed with bold break beats.

"I believe, as a drummer, an essence was captured that I've never heard before. Attention to detail was essential in creating the overall album, giving it a purpose to exist.
