NEW YORK (White Stripes Fans Website) - Jack White, of the rock duo the White Stripes, is producing studio tracks for Loretta Lynn, according to the Detroit Free Press. The White Stripes and Lynn performed together at a rock club in New York City in April, and Lynn earlier welcomed the band to her home in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., for a home-cooked meal.
The White Stripes have also recorded Lynn's hit "Rated X" and dedicated their 2001 album to her. No release date has been set for Lynn's new studio album.
