NEW YORK (Lil Kim Fans Website) - A US man has reportedly been charged after demanding $20,000 for the return of Lil' Kim's stolen jewellery. The 31-year-old was charged in New York with attempted grand larceny, attempted grand larceny by extortion and attempted coercion. If found guilty, he could face up to four years in jail. The man allegedly contacted Lil' Kim's lawyer last week, saying that he had her trademark Queen B necklace, which is studded with diamonds, and wanted money for its return. He is then said to have handed himself over to police on Monday, where he was kept in custody, awaiting his first court appearance to enter a plea. Lil' Kim lost a reported $320,000 worth of jewellery after a mix-up at JFK airport on June 20. The missing jewels were found last week by a United Airlines employee, wrapped in rags in a staff locker at the airport.
