NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ MctraxMedia) - Andy Fraser, legendary musician and songwriter, best known for penning FREE's rock anthem "All Right Now," Robert Palmer's mega-hit "Every Kinda People" and recent ground-breaking CD "Naked... and finally free," is joining forces with Avaaz.org TckTckTck campaign to bring awareness to the need for a strong global climate agreement in Copenhagen.

Says Fraser, "Music is my gift, and thus how I make my contribution".

Fraser has written, performed and recorded "This is the Big One" to coincide with the efforts of others concerned about global climate change.

Says Fraser "This has been completed in the few weeks since I became aware of the campaign and felt I had to make a commitment myself. I literally took a few quotes from the Avaaz mailing, juggled them around, sang them to the first notes I played on bass, and started recording".

The song rekindles memories of the immediacy of his writing from FREE, even early Rolling Stones.

The song is proving to have traction with rock stations, whereas his recent material has had a more mellow, mature R&B reggae feel to it.

The TckTckTck campaign has energized people worldwide, to demonstrate they do indeed care about "catastrophic climate change" and has drawn other celebrities like Hugh Jackman to raise their voices along with so-called Avaaz'flash-mobs' that staged demonstrations worldwide at 12:18 PM Sept. 21st.

Meanwhile, Fraser is finalizing his upcoming CD "On Assignment" scheduled for release on Mctrax International along with the long-awaited "Alive" concert DVD/documentary.

Andy Fraser reflects, "The magnitude of this climate threat, greenhouse gases, pollution, carbon emissions, endangering our planet, means we must make a global commitment and come together with a common purpose".
