
New York (Top40 Charts/ Hidden Beach Recordings) - Grammy winner The Tony Rich Project will headline the 1st annual H'ARTbeats in Harmony Festival on October 3, 2009. As part of the inaugural weekend of GLOBAL - the Greater Long Beach Arts Lab, the program has two major parts. Beginning at 1PM with a children's portion with Applesauce
Music with Miss Suzi and The Boomerang Gang, family drum circle, and a children's community art project. The adult portion of the festival beginning at 2:30PM brings hip-hop, jazz, R&B, acoustic rock, spoken word poetry, and live art into harmony. 'We are so excited to be part of Long Beach Global (Arts Month) with our Inaugural benefit concert, H'ARTbeats in Harmony. ' said Jane Stormant Galloway, Pastor at the Immanuel Center for Conscious Living. 'This historic building has been a part of the community since 1922, and this concert is our way of letting everyone know that this place is once again a community resource while raising funds to pay for H'artworks programming this fall.'
