New York (Top40 Charts/ Joey Gian Official Website) - An accomplished singer-songwriter and actor, Joey Gian, best known for his leading roles in the CBS hit series "Knott's Landing" and Steven Bochco's "Hooperman", will release an eight- song live album and a five-song EP titled "Here I Am", just days before he and his recently formed band "The New Sicilians" make their debut headlining the Italian Feast of San Gennaro in Hollywood.

American audiences were introduced to Joey's talent, when he made his singing and television debut as a five time winner and semifinalist on "Star Search", the original "American Idol". An undeniable talent, Joey did then what he continues to do today, captivate audiences with his riveting interpretation of swinging and soulful classics, including his own penned hits like "Here I Am" and "What If I Loved You", two of four songs featured in the MGM Motion Picture Return To Me, starring David Duchovny and Minnie Driver and Directed by Bonnie Hunt. The EP includes the previously unreleased original version of the emotionally relevant title track "Here I Am", inspired by those who protect our freedoms around the world. "Both the song and video are dedicated to all those in serviceand their loved ones," said Joey. The soulful and inspiring, "I Believe" from the forthcoming New York Yankees animated film "Henry & Me", is one of the four remaining tracks on the new EP.
A fixture at the Italian Feast of San Gennaro in Hollywood since its inception in 2002, Joey's enviable talent, charisma and boundless energy make him a fan favorite. The eight-song album titled "Joey Gian: Live at the Italian Feast of San Gennaro, Hollywood" features three original tracks and with Joey's signature style, five Italian festival favorites like "Speak Softy Love (Theme from the Godfather)", a swinging version of "That's Amore" and the Dean Martin classic, "Return to Me".

This year, Joey will hit the Feast of San Gennaro stage fronting his new band, "The New Sicilians". No strangers to the music scene, "The New Sicilians" include members of the legendary Pat Benatar Band: Neil "Spyder" Giraldo (Benatar's husband and lead guitarist) on guitar, Myron Grombacher on drums and Mick Mahon on bass. Covering a variety of classics, "The New Sicilians" will perform a one hour set beginning at 9:00pm on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel stage on Saturday, September 26th.
